AMPCo Direct doctor data includes barcodes as a standard feature
AMPCo Direct will always liaise with Australia Post to ensure you receive all your postage discount entitlements.
Printable area
Barcodes must be printed within the following margins:
No less than 15mm from the bottom edge of the piece of mail
No more than 100mm up from the bottom edge of the piece of mail
No less than 20mm down from the top edge of the piece of mail
No less than 15mm from either side of the piece of mail
Other placement rules
No part of the barcode must appear in the Cancelling and Metering Zone
Regardless of where the barcode is placed, the address must be located in the Address Zone
The margins of the Address Zone are the same as those in the diagram, except the top margin is 40mm rather than 20mm.
Barcoded envelopes
Any font may be used for addressing provided it is readable.
There is no restriction on envelope colour (except black). Colour and/or graphics can "bleed" off all edges.
Advertising content may be printed on both the front and the back of the envelope. However, advertising must be located 6mm clear of either end of the barcode and 2mm from top and bottom of the barcode.
Advertising graphics may be placed throughout the envelope (excepting the clear area around the barcode outlined above). However, it is important not to place any text to the right of the address block as this may confuse the barcode scanning equipment.
