Medical Disiplines

A discipline is the specific area of medicine in which a doctor practises, also known as their specialty. A doctor is recognised as a specialist once he or she is awarded their qualification by the relevant training college in Australia (eg. Royal Australasian College of Physicians), thereby attaining fellowship. The disciplines include registrars in training to be specialists.
